Student Life
The mission of the Counseling Center at PrattMWP is to help students be successful by providing a full range of educational and psychotherapeutic services and advocacy to students in need. Enhance well-being and development to students through orientation, individual psychotherapy, educational outreach, and crisis management.
Counseling services are available to all PrattMWP students. The services provided include, but are not limited to individual and group counseling for college adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, substance abuse, crisis situations, anger issues, and eating disorders.
Our counselor also provides a variety of educational programs for personal development and enrichment.
Our counselor also facilitates referral services for students requiring additional services, psychiatric services, or hospitalization for mental health concerns.
All counseling services are confidential.
Our Counselor is located in 14 Cottage Place. Drop in is available but the preference is for students to arrange appointments with the Counselor.
