Accepted Student Reception

Please join us Saturday, April 22, 2023, to celebrate your accomplishments at the Accepted Student Reception! The event will include a campus tour, meetings with administrative staff and faculty, entertainment, refreshments, and more.

Can't make it to Accepted Students Day in person? Follow along starting at 10 a.m. EST on our Instagram, @prattmwpcollege, as our social media ambassadors give you a look inside the event! Throughout the reception, you will have the opportunity to check out what's happening live, see videos of some of the student exhibitions, pop into a campus tour, hear from some of your fellow prospective students, and be able to ask our social media ambassadors questions in real-time!

Deferring to Another Term:

If you decide to defer your enrollment/application to the following term please email Admissions Counselor, Rayn-Boe Shutler (rshutler@mwpai.edu) to notify us of your decision. The enrollment deposit of $300 is required to defer to the following term, securing your place in the program and any merit award scholarship you received.

During deferment, students are not permitted to enroll full-time in another school. If twelve or more college credits are during deferment you'll need to reapply and submit all additional transcripts. Placement and scholarship will need to be reconsidered.

Requests for deferral must be submitted before August 1, 2023.

Relocating to the Brooklyn campus
The transition to the Brooklyn campus is automatic and seamless; no application is required to relocate. Approximately 95 percent of students choose to relocate to Brooklyn. When you relocate, you will start as a junior in your program as long as you remain in the major in which you were enrolled at PrattMWP. You will complete your degree in two years as long as you meet all requirements for your degree. Upon graduation, your bachelor’s degree will be awarded by Pratt Institute. You must complete the first two years at PrattMWP before you will be able to relocate to Brooklyn. You may not relocate to Brooklyn after completing only one year at PrattMWP.
