Jewelry Professor’s Work Featured in National Magazine
Chris Irick, Professor of Jewelry, was recently a visiting artist at Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine. While at MECA, Chris taught a die-forming workshop, conducted individual critiques with the jewelry majors and gave a public lecture on her work. Chris was also featured in the March issue of Art Jewelry Magazine as master maker and educator. The article included an in-depth interview as well as a full-page spread of her recent work. She was also interviewed by a graduate student at Boise State University who was compiling information for a research project on Chris’ work and process as an artist.
