Student Organizations

PrattMWP has student clubs and organizations that reflect the interests of the students. All registered groups on campus receive a budget for programming, have the opportunity to reserve the Student Center or other campus spaces for events, and can apply for additional funds from Student Government Association.

Current groups include:

Student Government Association
SGA is the governing body for the students at PrattMWP. SGA serves as the conduit for communication between the students and the administration of PrattMWP.  SGA also assists with the development of new student organizations and the planning of community involvement and volunteering.

Pratt MWP Programming Board (PPB)
PPB’s purpose is to develop a well-rounded series of programming for the campus community, including both social and educational programs. All PPB events and programs are planned by students, for students.

Student Gallery Committee
The Student Gallery Committee is responsible for gallery maintenance, installation of artwork and opening student shows located in the 14 Cottage Place. This group works closely with faculty and students to select a wide array of student artwork.

Pratt Peer Advisors
Pratt Peers play a vital role to the PrattMWP community. Along with serving as Orientation Leaders, Pratt Peers help with Past, Present, & Future Weekend, Open Houses, Accepted Student Reception, and other school events as needed.

Connections Leadership Program
The Connections Leadership Program is an opportunity for students to learn about themselves, meet other like-minded students, and get involved at PrattMWP. The not-for-credit class includes the following topics: communication skills, identity and diversity awareness, organizational skills, decision-making, interview tips, and problem solving. Students must complete the Connections Leadership Program to apply for most leadership positions at PrattMWP and Pratt Brooklyn, including RA and Pratt Peer positions.

Student clubs and organizations
Are student run and are dependent on student interest. For an up to date list of current student clubs and organizations or to start a new club, check in with the Student Activities and Leadership Office in the Meetinghouse. Previous clubs and organizations at PrattMWP include:
